Oh mate, the grub at The Rose is proper top-notch! The breakfast spread was pure bliss, and the food downstairs is a delight without burning a hole in your pocket. Plus, parking's a breeze – a rarity in York’s bustling streets!
One cheeky issue was the mattress – too soft for my liking, if I'm honest. The bathroom could do with a touch-up for modern convenience, but let’s keep that old-world charm, right?

The location was perfect for exploring york! the breakfast was def one of the highlights, absolutely lovely. free parking was a nice bonus too.
the noise from the street was a bit much at times and the mattress could use an upgrade. also, the bathroom could have been cleaned better.
